Angelus Leather Dye

Howdy,

       Do any of you-all use or have used Angelus leather dyes & finishes? I make bullet caddys & shotgun slides for people. Just like the one for the Granddaughter. Since then I have made 6 sets. I usually take their holsters home & match the color of their rig. I have one that I could not match. I found out through the maker he uses this dye. I bought a couple dyes from one of the company distributer or sells their products. Has anyone have experience with Angelus brands?

I can't believe out of 52 views , with some of the most respected(my opinion) leather craftsman ,no one has used Angelus Dyes. The dyes I purchased will be here Monday or Tuesday from North Carolina. I will report back.

Rev - I've never used it, but some of the folks on http://leatherworker.net/forum have and continue to do so - might want to see what they have to say about it - mostly good IIRC......

Reverend, please let us know how you like the dye.  I have been using Weaver Dye for years but do consider it to be a dirty dye with lots of residue to clean up BUT it is available in gallon sizes.  I see that Angelus offers all of their colors in gallon sizes which is a big plus.

I have never heard of it preacher. Post some pic of the result please. Do you have a link to this dye?

Heard of it, but never actually say any with my own eyes nor ever used it. Sorry.
Be interested in others' take on it however.
