Evans New Model Lever Action Carbine, Chambered for .44 Evans Short cal., 21" barrel. Dovetailed blade type front sight and military style rear elevation sight. Lever, rolling-block action. Sheet steel frame. Walnut stock and two-piece buttstock.
Condition: Good. Metal with brown patina. Scattered wear and light pitting. Rear sight a replacement. Dents and bruises present on fore-end and buttstock. Good fit. Action good.
Shoots great, for an 1877 Assult Rifle.
