What color to use to match Triple K belt?

I have to make a holster for a guy, and he wants it to closely match a gun belt he has from Triple K. It is the reddish brown color typical of Triple K gear.

Any idea of what color of dye to use to get close? The browns and mahogany I have does not do it...

The Triple K website says "walnut oil".

My guess would be tan plus lots of oil and add more oil.  Do not forget to try some oil!

Got one and it's a mahogany color. Brown with a lot of red in it.

I tried a sample of mahogany, and its a no go. I tried red with a coat of med. brown over the top, and its too dark.
I wonder if mahogany over red would do it? Thats what I did to Freedas holsters...

Try a saddle tan with a mahogany antique washed off some.

Reverend

Looks like  British Tan. I had to have a cross draw for the Ross Rig. I stained it British Tan & 100% neatsfoot . Perfect match. It looks like it.

The tan I use does have slight red tones in it and that oil, did I mention oil, will make it richer and enhance the reddish tent more as it ages.  I remember Kid Cavalier posting a project years ago that had a very rich reddish tone and I think it was simply oil with some sort of color enhancer to give it an aged look quicker.  I think one of our saddle makers could add a whole lot more expertise to this than I, but didnt the term saddle tan come from oiled saddles that had aged and been exposed to the sun??  It was a pleasing mellow color so dye makers imitated it?????  If this is wrong then I am just joking BUT if I'm anywhere close to right  ;D ;D .

Fiebings makes Cherry / Red Stain, that you mix with Neatsfoot oil, to get the shade your after, I get it from  http://www.peasandcornco.com/shoeandleathercare/dyesprep.asp  you will find it towards the bottom of this page, you vary the color by how much oil to stain you use. Hope this helps

Just an update.
Reverend nailed it.
Fiebings British Tan with a coat or two of olive oil come out darn near perfect.

I only wish he wanted some carving on it to match. Smooth holster with carved belt looks a little odd to me, but......

I will post some pics after a bit. I still need to attach the loop yet.

Good info. So many new shooters start with this leather then want something built to go with it
