DEFENDER .22, by Iver-Johnson Arms & Cycle Works, Chicopee Falls, Mass. WITH Original Holster made by S.C. Gallup, Pueblo, Col.

What can be said? It's just as cute as an outfit gets! The real bonanza is the maker ! S.C. Gallup, of Pueblo, Col. This is a 'big time" maker in the world of collecting Frontier Leather. The holster is a small metal tipped, Slim Jim, and wouldn't you know, the tip is an antique shot shell ! The revolver is a 2-1/4 inch barrel length, DEFENDER, 7 shot .22 revolver. Serial No. 189X, has 99.999% of all its original bright factory nickel finish, plus blue on the crew head. The grips have all their original varnish. The Defender is mechanically 100%, in every aspect, loading, rotation, indexing, locking and firing! The holster is trimmed in Silver straps, to make a "belt" hook, or a hook to hang the holster somewhere on your person. This is an INCREDIBLY UNIQUE outfit, and would be a true discussion piece for any collection. PRICE $950

I like the holster ...heck I like it all!!! ;D

The "silver straps" seem to be cutlery handles.  I may use that idea for a bowie sheath or for a holster for my derringer.  Is it common for that maker to put his stamp on upside down?
