This will finish me up for the year.  The latest Southern version of my WB rig for a shore nuff Southern guy.  These first two pictures show the front and back of the holsters construction, still very similar in appearance to the patterns I posted in the past.  The belt is lined with black suede while the holster is made from 6-7oz over a 4-5oz full grain liner.

Guys this is just to show the Confederate belts centerpiece.  Future versions will drop the small CS stamps in favor of double cartridge loops flanking the War Eagle.  I hope to get a pair of double mag pouches finished tomorrow so that I can get them mailed in time for Christmas.  As usual, please forgive my photography skills.

SB nice job, good looking rig. KT

Thanks Kid, I hope to start a new pattern for the California Slim Jim after the New Year and plan to do them with the same belt and stamps.  US, CS and military logos are pretty popular here in the South right now.  The belt is 8oz leather over 5oz suede, I usually like a heavier leather and a lighter weight suede for belts but that was the only suede I had left in black.  Even though it is only two inches wide I hope that it is stout enuff to handle up to a pair of 44 cap and ball pistols, I will find out by spring time????  I do like the belt design as it does save on leather lengths and offers anoth use for some of the small pieces we have laying around.  Of those that would give a believable comment, at least half seemed to like them as well or better than standard construction belts without the extra contrast.

Looks good, just like always Robby. I hope you have a great holiday season with your family friend, and thanks for all the helps you've been to me. God bless

Well, didnt go to the shop at all yesterday and its not going to happen in the next couple either.  There are several ideas that I was thinking about adding onto this rigs double mag pouch but have decided to only include one.  Since this is being made for a specific pard I do not want to get to creative on his dime!  I will try to get a shot of the new change to the mag pouches when they are ready.  Have a great Thanksgiving guys.

That looks good. The double loops on either side of the centerpiece is a cool idea. Good work.
