Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

I have found myself browsing the net and bumping into Steampunk sites for awhile now.  If I had found them 35 years ago I might have got pulled in.  Kind of like the world's of Jules Verne, and Conan Doyle etc.  And movies like 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'.

Cowboy action 'back to the future';  interesting spin.

Kaylee - sigh - where were you 35 years ago?  :-* - on second thought, don't answer that.  :-[
Well.... see, if you take your time, you get a more harmonious outcome.

There is a Movie titled "Steamboy"  It is a cartoon but is pretty enjoyable watching it.  8 year olds love it, take it from me.

It's kinda scary the way our tastes run in concert. Have been fascinated with Steampunk myself for awhile now. I ran across this item at a sale and realized it was real 'steampunk'. It went on the shelf with the collection.

I have the boxed complete series of "Firefly" which gets repeated viewing every couple of months. Kaylee, yes. Such a delightful combination of gear head and frank sexual promise . . .

The above is an excellent site, as mentioned elsewhere. I had scavenged several sets of early 20th century typewriter keys to do my own keyboard and computer conversion, but had never gotten around to it. Finally sold them to a restorer. Too many interests, not enough time nor money.
