Can anybody help me on how to dye deer hide to look  very old with uneven coloring.

if it's a brain tan deer hide i would soak it in black wal nut hulls for a few days and then wring it out and allow to dry.
that should give it a faded wash out look.
if it's that dreaded golden orange chrome tan deer skin you can soak it in a bath tub of  warm water and add rits color remover to the water. it should give it a light brown color.

hope this helps

if it walks, crawls, slithers or leaves a track i can tan it

Thank you, I'll try both ways and see which one looks the best.
