My shop is my garage.  Around 20' X 30'.
I have a layout table 4'X8" and a 4'X8" tooling, finishing table in the center. On the back wall is a bench 3X6'. It has a vice and anvil on one end, and I do my coloring on the other end.
My amenities are a fridge, and a coffee maker. A small boom box/radio, laptop computer, and a great view across the valley toward the mountains on the other side when the garage door is open.
For the last 15 yrs there where also my two Labrador retriever companions. But they both when to heaven during the first few weeks of this new year. So now it's just me.. and a crazy old stray cat.

Even if I could see Ned in Buckskin drawers I am sure that i would not want to ...

But I want to repeat that I would trade a warm loving parther for my erstwhile freedom any day ...
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

I have to share my leatherworking, with knifemaking so I have alot of different tools.I do it all in a single car garage, a small but comfy mancave.I have my laptop, stereo,tv, AC and heat, fridge, spent a few extra bucks on a good chair. If your going to spend most of your time in the shop you had better make it comfortable, because it really does reflect in your work.Dave :)
