I saw a nice Cimarron with silver colored receiver lavishly engraved.  I can't recall for certain if it was an 1866 or an 1873.

Had average wood though, a little over $2K.  .45 Colt
I would have probably been seduced if it had great wood, so I escaped wallet largely intact.

What are available options for a silver colored finish 1860?
I've seen a couple that were very expensive custom jobs.

At one time Ubertie offered a full nickel 1860 for $ 350 extra.I have one that was made in 1990.I do not see that option in their current catalogue

These were taken @ Uberti in Gardone

I believe you can order the Henry from either Taylor's or Cimarron engraved
when planets align...do the deal !

I wonder if you can order an iron frame in the white and/or engraved.

When you have the right friends, they can change your ordinary Henry Rifle to an hand engraved silver plated Henry Rifle.Like mine.
The price was ca. $550 and an English Longbow.

Really Really REALLY NICE Henry!!  Yepper!!  Actually, if you have unending patience, you can order and get almost anything you can think of from Uberti.  I do, however, mean UNENDING patience.  Uberti manufactures in "runs."   They do a "run" of something and that may be the end of that item for a year or two.  Or, they may do a run and that's it period.
I special ordered a Henry once.  Took almost three years to get.

I really prefer Silver Plate to Nickel.  Silver has a "softer" look even when polished.  Nickel has a hard, harsh look.  Well it should as
nickel is harder.  There is an outfit here in Pennsyltuckey that does wonders with different plating.  As soon as I can remember who they are I'll post 'em.
