Can anyone advise a supplier for the full size/life size plastic type material pistol forms for various makes and models that can be used for making/fitting/molding holsters?  I've attempted a number of searches but really don't even know what the "proper" term is for them.  I've seen them in photos and know they exist, just don't know where to go to find them.  Thanks.  Any info is greatly appreciated.  PS - I'm looking for both revolver and semi-automatic forms.    :)

The jury is still out for me on the blue plastic versions, the small tab broke off one of my plastic magazine bases.  I have feared for the trigger guard also  but it has held up so far but as you might guess, I am hard on the hardware! http://duncansoutdoor.com/customs.htm    http://www.blueguns.com/default.asp?

Also,
dont overlook the squirt guns and toy guns that used to be on the shelves. I picked up a dead ringer 1911 at a garage sale for .25 a few months back. It is made by Imperial Toy Corporation, and I think was a suction cup dart gun. I can wet mold with it, and have no problems with my RR1911 sliding right in.
Also check the soft air guns depts at Walmart, Kmart, etc. Many of them are correctly sized. (and fun too)

For absolutely identical molds and extremely durable as well go to Ring's Mfg. who make "Blueguns".They make models for Colt 1911,SA 5 1/2", SA 7 1/2, and even 20" DB shotguns. They are right across the river from me.Dave
