We've recently acquired a Model 3 Smith and Wesson Schofield 45 Caliber. US Military model with 7" uncut barrell, original grips. This is a complete revolver with matching serial numbers! Who would we contact for more information? Smith & Wesson has not been very helpful...

Old Town station in Kansas, I believe. the gentleman's name escapes me...........got it! Jim Supica, he's fairly good expert on those guns.........Buck ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

St. George

Take a look at Supica and Naha's book - 'The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson' - you'll find more there than you will dealing with Smith & Wesson themselves.

Copies are usually available at Barnes & Noble's - and your local Public Library may be of help.

Schofields suffer a bit from fakery - be warned.

Vaya,

Old Town Station is no longer in operation.  Mr. Supica is now the Director of the NRA National Firearms Museum.  However, if you can not reach him, I concur with St. George;  The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson By Supica and Nahas is the best reference.
