I may be wrong, but I thought that Pedretti & Sons was/is IAB.  ???

Major 2

Ray Hanchett  "Triggersmith" has owned a couple, he told me he let one get away  :( so when he found another he grabbed it.

What do you think about a Sharps double set triggers 30 inch barrel and in 45 colt ? No recoil .

I have looked at the 'Baby Sharps' a few times. For anything out to 100 yards I think it would be outstanding. I am assuming you are referring to a full size Sharps and not one that is scaled down.

As far as I know it is a full size Sharps , when it arrives this week , I will know . I have a couple boxes of black powder ammo from Powder Inc. to play with . Will give you the complete run down in a few weeks .

I don't know much about the Pedretti & Sons firearms...except....my sister tells me our Great-Grandfather Pedretti (who immigrated from Italy in the 1800s) is from the same region of the country as this firm.  As such I'm likely a distant relative..... If I find a contact at Italy, maybe I can get a family discount  :D

Naw..they may find out I shoot a Pedersoli Sharps & send a hitman instead  ;D

Please do Rowdy. One of these would simplify my reloading bench by a large amount. :)

Got a chance to shoot today . The Powder Inc, ammo was GREAT , the smoke and even the report of the round sounded right .

How's about some pictures Rowdy ;D  That little thing sounds neat.  I think I recall that Triggersmith mentioned previously made a Gemmer style rifle out of one.  It looked pretty cool.

I plan on doing a little Vintage Hunting with it . But not for Squirrels I enjoy using a 22 . The 45 would be a little tough on the meat .I hope to use it on our Deer heard this season .I guess you could say I will smoke my Deer . ;D

Shot the rifle at the Eastern Regional Mid Range shoot and it was a BIG DUD . Had several people spotting for me at 180 yards . We shot off cross sticks and still didn't help . So if your shooting over 100 yards SAVE your money and buy a Rifle caliber not a pistol caliber .
