The pig-pup and the Caracal cat are at the farm I stay in when I am working in South Africa. The pig was the runt of the litter and rejected by mama. The Caracal is a cat that weighs about 35 pounds and can take down a 185 pound impala in the wild. This one was rescued from an illegal zoo. You only pet it when it wants you to. I still have the scars to show for ignoring that advice.

There is another shipment of Greyhounds coming in soon and we will be fostering one. They have no idea about stairs or doors when they arrive and have to be taught to live in a household.

I should get off the topic as I might be diverting away from Delmonico's topic.
Sorry, Delmonico.

This is my little buddy, he was highly irritated when I poured black powder in that bone flask.

You sure you didn't pour that black powder on the dog??? :D Maybe that's why he is mad ;D

Since he is the known center of the universe (this is according to my wife and after ~22 years I know better than to argue).  pouring black powder on him would be very bad.   I usually get in trouble if he gets his picture taken with my odd hobby.
I figured he deserved to be in the picture.  He and I went to Petco one day.  I am carrying him as he does not do social interaction with other dogs.   I spy this huge cow bone in the freezer.  I get him some food and grab the bone.   The kid at the check out counter asks me why I didn't bring my other dog.  I tell him I don't have another dog, just his one under my arm.  He looks at the 9.5 lb poodle, and then at the huge bone and just has the oddest look.  I cleaned off the meat and stuff, dried it, trimmed it and capped it in mesquite.   The spout has a bushing I mounted in the wood and I have a funnel that will screw into the bushing for easy filling.  Works great.  My buddy likes his beef medium rare and prefers KC strips.   Did I mention he was the known center of the universe?

Trying to post a picture of Shadow, my Black Lab and his first Mountain Quail. Says my picture is too large. Not sure how to change it to post the picture, but anyway I love dogs. Any ideas on how to post the pic. will be appreciated.

Needs to be sized under 100k to attach to a post.  A hosting site like photobucket works best.  Hollor if you need more help.

Oh and since it is a black Lab, just click the E-Mail button under my avatar and send it to me, I'll get it up.

Trying to get Shadow's first Mountain Quail to show up as a picture. Hope this works and if it does that I remember how I did it. I've only tried about 100 different ways.
