There's something mighty fishy going one with this powder.

It's very powerful. More than 777.

It won't clean up with water.

Using petroleum lubes won't foul it like BP

It doesn't smoke.

It takes a 209 primer to set it off.

It has no smell.

It doesn't foul the barrel/action

That sure sounds like smokeless powder to me. How can they get away with calling it BP?

Same way the Dems call tax increases "investments."  Blackhorn 209 isn't a SASS legal sub because it contains nitro cellulose.  Simple solution, don't buy either story.

that was designed for the in line shooters

most states have a muzzel loading season, not a primative weapon or black powder season.  If they had the ladder we could use real guns with real powder

Pete, where have you been?  This is Old News. Because it isn't black powder.  Even SASS has said it's illegal ...

You'd be amazed what you will find in several of the black powder magazines.
Might want to subscribe to a few instead of just reading the Cowboy Chronicles!  ;D

I've never paid any attention to any of the subs. So, i'm a bit behind.

I have an inline for muzzleloader Elk season, but always used real BP.

The hunters are always talking about BH 209 and I finally started to read about it out of curiosity. I wish I hadn't now.

I'll keep on blowing smoke and stocking up on Elk meat.
