New coach gun

I just had my dealer order me a new norinco coachgun in 12 ga.  Any issues with these that I should be aware of?

I have had a Norinco and traded it for the TNN 1878, I think you would like it better...

The newest version of the Norinco's are quite good.  Did you get the external hammer gun?

The TNN that Wymore mentioned are evidently the current top hammered gun, but the latest "Norinco" is very close and seems to fit some folks better.

Yeah its external hammered.  I went to the shop today to pick up some targets, and it was there already.  Looks good  Nice finish and everything

Speaking from personal experience.....weigh it.  If it weighs 8 pounds, or less...shoot light loads in it, or Black Powder.  If you don't...it'll turn your shoulder into hamburger!

I've got one and I've been very happy with it. I'm also considering a TTN but I'm waiting for them to come out with some field length barrels before I get the TTN. I shoot BP and the Norinco is a kicker with heavy boads. I've had mine for a couple of years now and it has performed flawlessly.
