Misserable stupid movie . . . . with my all time FAVORITE western actor in it.

"Sabata"   another "take off" trying to piggyback on the success of Sergio Leone's films.  Saw it way back when . . . and got the DVD along with a bunch of others recently on a special 2 fu one offer.   Watching it to enjoy seeing Van Cleef.  So DUMB though.
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

I have to say that one doesnt ring any bells. DR

Any real LEE VAN CLEEF fan will watch the WURST movie ever made in order to see Lee Van Cleef.   :)

And I've done it . . . for "God's Gun" is the WURST western ever made . . . and all the wurst for having Lee Van Cleef play not one part but TWO parts !   He plays twin brothers.   :)

ps.  Though I must admit I could only make thru "God's Gun" once and that at 10 minutes or so at a time.  >:(

Professor Marvel

Ah My Good Dr Wolfgang -

for another grand fan of the infamous Van Cleef, (and the good Yul Bryner) I will repost my links regarding the exquisitely awful Sabbata series:

her we see Yul's harmonica rifle:
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2594804480/tt0066745

amongst the schtick of these particular spaghetti westerns were the ubiquitous "gimmick guns" - a harmonica rifle, derringers with extra barrels that even shot out of the grip, guns that shot far too many rounds, and best of all, a yellowboy "very short" carbine
that has a removable barrel extension:

too bad it would shoot right off...

these film s even include the Astra in 9mm Largo (which was not yet invented)

"The Protector" A Chicago palm pistol

and the afforementioned nonexistant derringer

of course, it's not all the Italians' fault, just look at the gimmicks in the "The Wild Wild West"

Doc Cuervo

I missed that one. Is it as bad as Captian Apachie? That one got my vote as the very worst Lee Van Cleeef spagetti western. If for nothing else, that gay assed looking fur collared coat he wore.
