Ever put a Super Blackhawk grip frame on an Old Model Vaquero?

I'd like to see that.

Done it before.  I am not a good filer, so it was not the best fit.
But, yes they will "bolt" on.  Bisley grip frames will too, but there will be even more filing.

Saw an example of this sometime ago and thought about future custom ideas, but that's a long term goal considering the economy.

Either Wes Flowers (Cochise, AZ) or Lonnie at Runnin Iron (Bertrand, NE) can do them for you & they will look GREAT.

I'm curious about Runnin Iron. What custom work have you had done at Runnin Iron?

My stuff he's done:
He's fitted some Vaqueros with Bisley grip frames.
He's made cut/ground some Vaquero gripframes into birdheads.
He's fixed my Mossberg M-311D.
He's fixed my Winchester M-24 SXS.

Other guns (not ours) he's done:
He's made real turds of M-1887's & M-1897 into real jewels.
He's made Auto Ordnance "Tommy Guns" actually work.
He does excellent work on the various M-1911's too.
