A search on Ebay brings up several different old ones. It might be like having a subscription if you buy a few old ones on Ebay once a month...

If you are interested in the old Mags, I have about 50 copies for sale here in the store. Some dating back to the 50's.

I think the one that preceded TLCASJ was perhaps MAKE IT WITH LEATHER().  I had a collection of the old ones that went way back but in the late 80s I stripped out a few of the articles that interested me most and junked the rest, who knew!  Those who were smarter than I are now selling them on Ebay.  For some reason the Journal back issues actually bring more than the older 'Maker It' back issues???  So far I have the complete back set of Journals and they put out a great mag.  I may also have some extra copies of a few older editions that have not gone to Ebay yet.
