In cooperation with the Central Ozark Western Shooters it gives me great pleasure to announce the 2010 MO Div. Championship, the Muster at the Hanging Tree.  This will be a match within a match, as part of COWs  annual  "Shootout at Hanging Tree" Match. This match is a one day, 6 stage match on a multi bay police training range, with obstacles, cover, plenty of movement, and a catered lunch.

All GAF catagories will be recognized. GAF members will be organized within their own posse,   if numbers allow.  Further information will be posted here as it develops.

Cost is  $25, includes the meal.   Non shooters pay $10.  There is no preregistration, show up, pay and shoot

Information and directions can be found at     http://www.centralozarkswesternshooters.com/Index.htm

Man I wish that was on Saturday the 16th. I'd soooo be there. I could leave after work on Friday and then have all day Sunday to get home. As it is I don't see how I can make it work. :'( :'( :'(

That would be almost an all night drive, I think. I think it took us 11-12 hours when we came up to the Muster last fall. Of course, you might make better time without a "baby on board".

Yeah I figured that if I were ready to leave when I got off work I should be able to make it by 01:00. The trip down wouldn't be as bad as the return trip since I'd need to go to work the next day.

Per club range rules, keep both long guns & revolvers cased?

1. Un-bagging of a pistol/revolver is only allowed at a safety area or under the supervision of a Range Officer. Long gun will be cased until on the ready line and then uncased under the direction of a Range Officer.

That has never been an issue at the cowboy shoots.  its a rule for the tactical guys/police trainees.
