Howdy! Marshal's post about international members reminded me of a question I've wanted to ask for some time.
Just how does a club become and keep a SASS affiliation?
I know that SASS affiliation page says a club is supposed to verify 50% of its membership as SASS members.
My home club is pretty large for my area, but most of the members don't participate in CAS. As for the folks who come to our shoots, most of them are not members of the club. I'd guess that six club members participate on a regular basis at the monthly matches and we are all SASS members. Does that mean that we have 100% SASS membership based on SASS members who shoot CAS at the club and are club members or that we have maybe 2% membership (overall club members who are also SASS members) ?
I'm confused,
