Last weekend I was in the Twin cities where my Daughter and Son in Law were part of an Old West re-enactment event.  On Sunday we went garage sailing.  I found a nice long horn that's now my new powder drop tube.  Photos attached.

The mouth piece makes a perfect fit for all brass from .22 Cal to .50 Cal.  The big bell makes hitting the hole a cinch.  The simple bracket holds it next to my press and the wood block holds the brass shell very nicely and holds the horn while switching brass.  Works like a champ.  Cost me Five Bux.

You just have to use your imagination to take advantage of these kinds of deals. . . . ;D

That's just too cool, DD.  My drop tube is a 24" chrome plated supply tube meant to hook on a faucet for a bathroom sink.  Cost me maybe $3, and the big, onion-shaped bit at the top end is pretty easy to hit, and the bottom end is small enough to slip inside a .45 or .50 shell.  I clamp it to the open door of  cabinet next to my press with a couple of spring clamps.

The horn is two piece with a slip joint in the middle.  So, I can take it off the bench real easy for storage.

Looks like your Lab is hoping you keep using it for a powder drop tube, and don't try to make music with it!  ;D ;D

I thought he was calling the Hounds to the hunt :D

Yup, Bear is a real critic.  He's real good at hunting tho.  But, during the night he howls in his sleep.  So, he's kind of musical himself.  You can see from the way he is sitting there that he isn't actually enjoying my horn tunes. . .

FWIW, the drop tube function of that horn is very good.  I'm able to get another grain or so of 1½G Swiss into a 45-70 shell with it.
