heres the rear jockies that needed pulled apart and restitched cuz a lot of the stitching was gone
and what ever ya do done ask me bout this style i dont really understand it myself all i know is
that the rear jockies and the piece that goes across the back of the saddle tie into the real billets
in whinch the rear cinch is attached maybe some one can chime in and enlighten me and others

ps will have pics after i get it all restitched

Two thoughts; Maybe the saddle shop knows something you don't, or they just might want the easier quicker work, which makes them more money. It all depends on the money to time ratio. If business is slow, they might take the time to do this sort of repair, but if they are flush, they might not want to mess with it.

Either way it's a learning experience!

Cowboy, thats the kind of work I use to get all the time when I lived in cowboy country. Ya can't charge what its really worth most of the time and you never know what you will find under the next piece of ratty leather. :o ;D ;D
Good luck on that rawhide it can be a real bear.
