Ooooops! Discovered a movie problem!

I'm watching that Glen Ford movie "The Man From The Alamo".  There's a big goof in there.  They are using muzzle loading rifles.....and sixguns.  This is time frame 1836 and to my knowledge....they didn't have sixguns then.  Someone made a boo boo on that movie!

Colt had the Patterson revolver in 36' don't know if they had any at the Alamo, they did have lots of pepper box's and such.  Hollywood is Hollywood.......
