Looks to me this is a problem with the socalled forum permissions. The temporary board is set up, but has only posting permission for admin and moderators.

I just tried to respond to a post in the Temp Wire & got the flood control message. Maybe new topics can be started but nobody can reply to them...........Nope New Topic posting didn't work either.

Same thing just happened to me on the Temp Wire. Tried to reply to a post about a shooter using a rifle sling on a Main Match rifle, but was unable to post my reply. Sent a PM to the poster that seemed (?) to go through. Also tried to post to Ziggy's post on the Temp Wire to notify him of the problem, but it didn't allow me to post there either.

It must be some kind of messed up.

Checked again this morning and thought things may have returned to normal when I saw the temporary wire buut nope, still getting flood warnings. If you read the couple of posts on the temp wire, it does seem like it's a registration timing thing as to whether or not you can post but then again, I'm so cornfuser illiterate I don't know my floppy from my hard (disks, you evil people).
I'm sure Ziggy'll have it all back and running before we know it.
