Wow Cowboy that looks great!. Your stitching looks nice and even too! I know that can be a real challenge to get right. Cutting all that thick leather even and parrallel to the stiching is tough too.... You did REAL good ;)

The other thing is that you were able to keep from getting holes on the back where the ears/cover wraps around your filler. Nice job

Only thing I see is  that a rope may hang up on the ends where your stitching ends... This is just a little extra carving that can be done.. your stitches may be too close to the ends to cut more on this one but you may still be able to round them off a bit.?? Pretty scary thought to go whacking on it after you have it looking so good ;D.... I will show you a pic if you would like to see what I am talking about.(with your permision)

One question?? how did you get this done "so right"?? :o This is not an easy thing to do without patterns and some instruction..

That's some good work, Cowboy. It sounds like Freedom has pointed out any improvement you may want to make. Darn well done, pard.

Cowboy 316, I think what you've done looks good, I've never made a saddle so my input is limited but I know you will do a nice job of it.

Well cowboy, it's just like everything else in life, we have to do things as we can afford them, we've all been there, so take your time, there is no hurry, we'll look forward to seeing your progress as you can do it.

Gullet looks good except you need to skive those edges down to a feathered edge.
