Whittakers gun store

Has anyone heard that Whittakers is on the market to be sold?  I know some of you have visited the store while you were at the Nationals.

Deadeye Don, This comes up every now and then. I really doubt it though. If it sold all the Whittaker family would be out of work. That includes grand children. I am down there two or three times a month and have heard nothing.  Tj

Deadeye Don, Dodge Boy and I just returned from Whittakers. Talked with Darrel Whittaker, the owner, he says there is no truth in that rumor. Man what a gun store. If any of you pards are in the area you should stop and have a look. Tj  :o

TJ, I guess that would make it 11 hours and ten minutes for me. ;)

Maybe next year at the National we can see who'll be interested in caravan over for a visit as in past years.

RCJ, Yes I know, but I have to go about once a week. Dodge Boy usually goes with me. We try to restrain the other from buying a new gun. But we have to keep up on his used gun. By the way they do have a web site. Just Gooble Whititaker's Guns. they will ship to another FFl holder. Great place and they look forward to NCOWS visit and always donate to our National door prizes. Tj
