Awesome KT! Those are super nice pard! The red insert is killer! The wood on the knife handles is down right beautiful as well!  8)

Very nice KT, the use of small spots really sets it of, and the scalloped edge is a nice touch also, they both are keepers. ::) ;D

Those are very nice! I love the handles on the knives too!
I have a question or two.
The shine in the photo makes it appear that you put some rivets or something in the pinked area.
Is that area on the red insert riveted in or something else?
Will you share how you made them?
Thanks

Hi BJ. The red inlay is  elk hide that I dyed and has 1/4 in. silver spots in the scallops in each one. The other it Texas brindel inlay with 1/8 in. silver spots in each of the scallops. Hope this helps. KT

KT thanks for the answers. :)
I have a heck of a time doing spots.
I mash them and one leg them more often than not. So I admire anyone's work that contain spots!
Ya got talent sir!

KT, those are both really fine examples of outstanding quality workmanship and creative design. Those scalloped edges with spots? WOW!

Biscuit Joe, I don't know what KT does to set spots, but I've found it much easier since I bought a couple of setters from the Standard Rivet Company. You need a setter for each size, and they cost about 18 bucks a piece, which is why I only have 2 so far, but man oh man do they work good! It's made all the difference in the world setting the smaller spots when doing a lot of them.

I've found Chuck Burrow's method to work well too, but it takes me a lot of time that way.

Once again, great Job Terry, you are an artist!

Thanks to all of you and Rick your knowledge on how I make things and come up with ideas never ceases to surprise me. You should make a CD of how I do things and sell it. Dont let the flap on theTepee hit you in the head as your leaving. KT :) :D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very nice, KT. I particularly like the sheath with the red insert. That's a spectacular one. Thumbs up on these.
