Nice lookin pair of boots Delmonico. Not ones you'd want to walk through the cow lot with or walk down a muddy road. What type of pen,  item, and ink/stain did they use to draw the pics on the boots? Never seen any boots like those before. Do you know if the person that bought them is gonna wear them? On another note- a friend said something to me once that you worked or operated a western store in your state. May be goin through Nebraska this summer, would like to stop and look ya up. Where do I go. May coordinate it with when yer having a shoot. Mentioned it a while back to Dalton Masterson also. Yers, CC

They've been doing the "Give Cancer a Boot" for a while now, they are considered works of art and are displayed, we have a pair from last year in our Boot Dept the boss bought.  A link to some of the other boots from this year.

The money goes to cancer research at UNMC in Omaha.

The poem on the 4th pair are the lyrics to this old Statler Brothers song.

Everybody knows when you go to the show
you can't take the kids along.
You've gotta read the paper and know the code of G, PG, and R, and X,
and you gotta know what the movie's about
before you even go.
Tex Ritter's gone, and Disney's dead,
and the screen is filled with sex.

Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
ridin' the trail alone?
Whatever happened to Gene and Tex,
and Roy, and Rex, the Durango Kid?
Oh, Whatever happened to Randolph Scott,
his horse plain as could be?
Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
has happened to the best of me.

Everybody's tryin' to make a comment
about our doubts and fears.
True Grit's the only movie
I've really understood in years.
You gotta take your analyst along
to see if it's fit to see.
Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
has happened to the industry.

Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
ridin' the trail alone?
Whatever happened to Gene and Tex,
and Roy, and Rex, the Durango Kid?
Oh, Whatever happened to Randolph Scott,
his horse plain as could be?
Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
has happened to the best of me.

Whatever happened to Johnny Mack Brown,
and Alan "Rocky" Lane?
Whatever happened to Lash LaRue?
I'd love to see them again.
Whatever happened to Smiley Burnett,
Tim Holt, and Gene Autry?
Whatever happened to all of these
has happened to the best of me.

Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
has happened to the industry.

That is really neat Del. Thanks for letting us see them.

I have an old pair of boots that I drilled a hole in the front of and made a roof for the top and I have them out on the fence in back as birdhouses. No customers though, but they have a old timey look about them.

I put my old one's in the pick-up, then when I see a fence with a line on them, I add them.
