Does anyone know when the last Colt SAA was "made under the blue dome" in the old Colt factory?

I know they moved at some point and later USFA built guns there for a while.

Colt unveiled "The Last Gun" in 1995 which is the last Single Action Army produced in the Hartford Armory. It is elaborately engraved and embellished with historical gold inlays representative of the Colt family and company lineage.

Information from Greg Martin Auction shows the last SAA was marked May 1994.  It was sold in January 2009 along with SAA serial number 1 at a Greg Martin Auction.  Number 1 sold for around $862,000, the last SAA sold for around $172,000.

Anybody know the SN of the last SAA manufactured at the Hartford Armory?  I have a 90's era SAA, the SN is S18,77xA.

S18XXXA would put yours in 1997.  1994 serials started at around S07006A and 1995 started at around S10123A ending around S12560A.

The Archives Greg Martin Catalog did not go into book two, which had the last Colt SAA.  I can't find the papers I had on it either.  I will try again later.

OK, I found the serial of the last Colt SAA made.

It is         "MAY 31, 1994 HARTFORD"

Thank you Doc,

I purchased the revolver new in 1997, but was unsure when it was manufactured. I guess it was really new.
