Regret Chancy

Howdy Pards,
I have been a SASS member for a few years and have joined the NCOWS posse recently. I have plenty of artillery but havent been to or shot one meet match in either. I know of the Fox Bend Peacemakers (SASS)  and they are real close but due to throat cancer I cant talk anymore so going in as a newbie is sort of intimidating. They shoot on Sunday mornings and my wife (she translates for me so I can converse) teaches Sunday school and takes our 3 daughters to church and by the time they arrive home the shoot is over. If any of you local shooters would like to help me out as a friend and spare a little time meeting me and guiding me through a match or 2 meeting people it would be most appreciated. Thanks pards for any help you can give me,
                                                                                                                                               Regret Chancy

Regret, Hate to hear of your problem. We shoot the second Saturday of each month(Green River Gunslingers). Located off US 231 between Bowling Green and Morgantown, KY. We are a SASS club, but also have some NCOWS classes. Working Cowboy and even a non NCOWS class that some NCOWS clubs have called Range Detective. Working cowboy use one handgun and a rifle. The other is two handguns and a rifle. Also at West Side in Evansville, In.They have SASS and ever other month a NCOWS.  West Side shoots the third Saturday. West Side has Working Cowboy also. I know about the Sunday shoots. My wife is a Methodist lay preacher, she does not like me shooting on Sunday. I have shot at Fox Creek and also Knob Creek in Louisville. Both shoot on Sunday, so have not shot there very often.  You would be welcome to come and shoot with us anytime. Regret, I am a long way from Kentucky (Wisconsin) but I can tell you that you won't find any finer fellas to join up with than Texas Jack and J.D. Goodguy.  I know and have shot with both.  Don't ask for the shirt off their backs because they are likely to give it to you.
