I've got a couple of these and want to dissemble them. Other than a screw in place of the bolt pin it started out okay.
Got to the hammer/trigger screw and can not get it undone. It won't unscrew; help!!
What is keeping it from coming out?

Loictite??  Left hand threads?  Any help out there?
Yes called Cimmarron, no help there. Said call Chiappa, did that and email, no response.
Can some one offer help?

Mr. Gunman,
Sometimes it can be a little hard to get hold of Chiappa, but they might be gone to a show or something.  I've torn one of those down once but it was a while back and I don't recall right now that particular screw.  I'll check this topic later this evening and if nobody chimes in with the answer, I'll be at Cimarron tomorrw and will attack one of those '92's and see if I can figure it out.  Call Cimarron tomorrow some time in the afternoon and ask for Dave.  If I don't hear from you I'll check here again tomorrow evening when I get home.  Good luck.

Thank's Abilene.
I've tried 2 of mine with no luck, even placed frame in Fl sun, still no luck. Just hate scratching a frame.

Sorry to jump in here but I too have a problem with my Armi Sports Chiappa 92. When I load the last shell in through the gate it doses not straighten up , I have to give the side a tap with my hand and it jumps over, otherwise I have to work the lever two or three times before it comes up to the breach. After that all the other shells work ok. Also the loading gate dose not come all the way back to the closed position by a few thou. thank you for any help.I have owned this gun from new for two years up till now with no problems. BTW it's a .44-40.

TJ called from Chiappa, his suggestion is use a impact screw driver as that is what he uses.

Howdy,
I pulled a random '92 today and leaned into that screw with a decent screwdriver.  It popped loose without much effort.  I guess some are tighter than others.  Good luck.
