Desert Drifter

Howdy pards, my handle is Desert Drifter.  I've got a spread in southeastern Colorado along the Sante Fe trail.  I'm retired and have an interest in black powder firearms.  I've got several "Buffler" guns.  Original Sharps and Springfield, and a cupla Italin ones.  Plus Leman, northwest trade, Pennsylvania flinters I made.   If I ain't shooting or makin rounds I'll be fly fishin or makin knifes in my forge.  Thought I would introduce myself and try the coffee

Wow!, it look like you shotwell there Kent.  Thats a fine look'n buf and Sharps rifle you got there.  Yep I clean gunz alot, but I dont clean fish alot.  I just catch 'em and turn 'em loose.  I'd rather eat a steak than fish.  These trout are too boney for my like'n.  I dont know if'n I'm eat'n trout or my mustache.  When I eat fish I go down to the fish 'n taters place.  Don't have to mess with 'em that way.

I've got a cup'la Sharps rifles myself.  I like Sharps, they aint hard on the eyes to look at like some gunz are.

Thank fer the comments, they're appreciated pards.

Blackpowder Burn

Welcome Drifter,

Sounds like you have the life most of us fantasize about.  Pull up a stool and hang out awhile.  You might also try the Darksiders Den on this forum.  The black powder folks hang out there as well.
