Lyman 1860 Army, 1851 Navy

I have owned these two pistols for over 25 years. They are amazingly accurate and reliable. One problem, though, who actually manufactured them? I can find no manufacturer markings. I have heard everything from Pietta to Uberti. I want to get ivory polymer grips, but, the last ones I tried didn't even come close to fitting.
