My 61' Navy and Boot Dagger

I just bought this 61' Navy from a friend of mine. He bought it in 1967. It's a Uberti imported by Reliable Arms.
It's in great shape. I am having a Slim Jim holster made for it by Chuck Burrows of Wild Rose Trading Co.
I had Josh Dabney who frequents this board build this fine boot dagger and sheath for me also. I love new toys!! ;D ;D ;D
The gun came as a boxed set with all the needed accessories.

Steve... That is just too sweet, can't wait to see what it looks like in one of Chuck's rigs...should be outstanding!! You gotta wear that rig during the filming of our western in August.

have me wear it in the film!!! ;D And the Snowcreek Boots I ordered should be done iin 2 to 8 weeks.
I am looking forward to getting them as well. I hope there are as good as they look in the pictures.

Those grips are aging well. They look great on the revolver.

Steve, the guy that made your dagger and sheath, does he have a website and do that as a business or just like jobs for friends? i really like the looks of that dagger/sheath combo. Would love to see a pic of it in the boots if you had a pic

Here's a pic of the original holster I'll be basing my verison on for that beaut of a Navy - I'm real partial to 51's myself, but dang that 61 is NICE!

Howdy Fellas,

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. Cable Josh does not have a website but here
is his email address.          dabneyknives@yahoo.com     Josh jush became a new Dad again so he might
not get right back to you. But I talked to him a few days ago and he said he is back getting more shop time
in.

Fellas as far as the grips go they were on the gun when I bought it. So I don't know who made them
or how long they have been on the gun. The gub was bought back in 1968 I believe. I will check with
the fella I bought the gun from and see if he can tell me anything about them.

Cable I have a brand new pair of custom boots due in on Tuesday. I will try and post a picture of the knife in the boots
in a few days.
