trouble shooting...

Riddle me this Batman.............
  Picked up a used Beretta Stampede, taking it apart for the clean and lube job. Hammer coming back to half cock, bolt drops, and as the hammer locks into position the bolt snaps back up in the lock position.  I have another Stampede, did same on it with no hitches. Compared the parts, all look the same. Any ideas? , or is this a send back issue?

Sounds like a bolt or detent spring problem. These parts are quite different than Colt. They are not expensive, check herehttp://www.vtigunparts.com/store/shopdisplayproducts.asp?page=1 May require some fitting.
