I just picked up my second Remington Outlaw today. It's a blue 44/40. Now, I need to find some Cowboy ammo for it.

IMO, the best kind of ammo would be homemade, with a big-lube .44 bullet & 30+ grains of 2F powder  ;D

Maximize your fun!

Unfortunately, I am not a reloader at this time. Ammo seems to be scarce and expensive right now.

I recommend any reloading outfit you can afford...it'll soon pay for itself, provided you fire a at least a few boxes of ammo per year.
A Lee hand held press is a decent start, low $$, and is still useful accessory in case you decide to get a fancy loadin' rig in the future.

....AND, If reloading isn't really in your future...remember some of us will help take your used brass off your hands and trade ya some cash ta-boot ;)

Best regards,
Slim

This is about as good as it gets these days.

I second the Georgia Arms vote.  They tend to load 'em on the strong side but... ;D ;D
