Huckleberry Rig Project under way!

I started my Huckleberry rig yesterday. In fact I started my Wild Bunch rig as well. But that will be a different post! I have the patterns done, the leather cut, lacing holes punched, and the tooling design laid out and carved. I'll start the tooling tomorrow. I need to order a strap cutter, some more lace, and some 1 1/2" buckles. I have some pics below! Like a bone head I took the pics after I cased it again so I could bag it up for the night.

I got the top strap and the two back x straps cut today. I finished the tooling on the main body of the holster, and made the buckle fold clasp. I located all the holes to mount the top strap, and the buckle flap. Here a couple updated pics.







I need to buy a 1 1/2" buckle, and a 5/8 buckle, and some more lacing. I am going to work on the X straps tomorrow.
