...and I don't know where else to put it.

Does anyone know of someone in the Ontario/Riverside/Pomona area who can do some sewing and grommet work on some items I have? I'd like to give it to a CAS pard if I can, to "keep it in the family", but will use an outsider if one isn't available. As a last option I'll send it out.

Hey Forty, WC is out that way.... well Burbank anyhow. Just on the other side of town takes on a whole new meaning out there.

I thought about that, but it's a pretty good haul out to WC's from Ontario, traffic being what it is in that area. Of course it's also a great excuse to visit WC and his shop!

Howdy wc. (And thanks to everyoneelse.)

I have 8 canvas money bags, 12" x 18", with custom printing on them.

I was going to have the tops folded over twice ( 1.25" final width) and sewn at the top and bottom edges, then add eight 1/4" grommets put around the edge for tie cords.

I woke up in the middle of the night (I seem to do some of my best planning while I'm unconscious...or on the throne.

. ) with a better idea, but thanks anyway.

Thanks. All I need now is 24 feet of 3/8" or 1/2" canvas strapping. Three feet to the sack folded and sewed on at the mid-point about 4" from the top. Wrap and tie.

I'm going to use three of them as throw pillows in the den. I'll put them on top of the strongbox I built and use it as a foot rest in front of my easy chair. I may sew them together down the side seams and put some velcro on the box to keep them from sliding all over the place.

The others are for carrying ammo, lunches, etc.

I don't plan on scratching much there. (I do that in front of the TV or at the supper table, usually when we have company over. Sometimes I do it at the mall.)

I do plan to hibernate there every day for an hour or so, though.

I'm getting close to sending "Eat Your Heart Out" pics. Maybe another month. We'll see.
