Finally got the scabbard finished.   The scabbard has rawhide Texas Stars with a star/diamond border.
Since the Shoulder stock does double duty on my 1860 Colt, the fit isn't as good as I would like, but it holds tight while shooting.  A real tack driver.  Since the Buffalo revolver was a gift and I had bought the shoulder stock long ago for the Colt, this only cost me ~$11 for the new hammer screw through Taylors and Company.

Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

That is just too cool! I sort of wish for you, that it had a steel frame so you could load it hot, but I love it
and I'm happy for you!

Go ahead  load it up with all the BP & lead that'll fit in the C&B cylinder.....It'll take it fine.
Never seen or heard of a Remington brass-framed pistol getting messed up from genuine BP.

That is fine work on the scabbard and the revolver looks nice too.

I typically shoot triple 7, easier to find in a post 9-11 shopping world.   I use 25 grains, wad and a 454 ball in this revolver.  I estimate 500-800 shots through it and it is as tight as the day it was delivered.   It may get a little more use now, this is just a sweet shooter.  I have always liked the remington carbine but lacked the funds, don't need one now.

I actually think I like it better, with the pistol grip and all!
