I have a 2nd generation 1851 Colt that was converted at Kenny Howell's shop to 38 and the barrel religned to .357.
I just received a set of lee 38 short and 38 long dies from an individual and tried to order 38LC brass and currently it is out of stock at least at Buffalo Arms and Starline.
The 38 Short brass is available but the Long brass is questionable if is available for a least a month.
The 38 Short just seems like it may be a little light for CAS shooting but I thought I would check here to see if there were any opinions or experience of what the 38 Short is like to shoot.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hmm, it's kinda like shooting a .32 Auto. If you have a case trimmer you can shorten some .38 spl brass which is very available and much cheaper.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.
