Thanks guys. Yeah I still have to do the belt and the left hand holster.  :'(   I have some of the work done on the left hand holster already. I have the edges beveled, and the borders done. You know I have drawn a blank on what to do with the belt. I can't think of how I want it to look. Is it common to make the belt match a double gun rig? Or should it contrast some how?

Gun Butcher

Amin, I kew that one was going to look good when you got done and I was right you did a great job on it and I'm sure the rest of the rig will look just as good.  Don't stop now ;) ;D
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

amin, gun belt can be done in many different ways, in the period, you would also see plain belts, and the holsters would be the colorful part of the rig, by being carved or adorned with concho's or spots, but your choices are open, it's really what you envision and how you want it to look that counts, so do a little thinking and then have fun, we'll all be looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Well Masons do masonary work,do a brick pattern with occasional mason tool or sign like ya did on the holster, they were masons right?Sort of like basket weave without weaving them, but stacking them in a laying brick pattern ;D Maybe have a center blank and put the level, compass and such there like you would put someones name.Works fer me...

You are lookin' good! I look forward to seeing the finished rig and your future projects.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Marshal Will Wingam

That came out really good, Amin. The workmanship is right and the colors really make it look nice.
