Leather postcards were banned by the U.S. Postal Service in 1909 so they were only made for a very short period of time and are rare!

You know what Rick!? I think I have an old leather Post Card in my Great Grandfathers old trunk. I will try and dig it out tonight and see if it is leather or not. That's really cool either way though!

Might have been banned in 1909 but many were sent after that. Al Stolhman sent many to friends over the years.
I have a pix on one of my computers of one.
