Hello!
Has anyone got a ratty Mills looped belt that has the brass hardware intact they'd want to get rid of? I've got a project in mind, but I need the hardware.  Thanks!

S&S Firearms has the hardware - as do several other suppliers.

Steff's got one that someone cut the stitching on half the loops to make a shotgun belt but he wants too much for it, especially for what you want it for.

Even salvage grade originals are highly priced now, you'ld be better off getting the repro hardware from S&S   http://www.ssfirearms.com/images/09%20cat/2009%20Cat%20Insignia.pdf  page 91  They don't list all the parts, you'll have to call, but they have them.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Yessir, I'm having the same problem trying to find reasonably priced bayonets for my Trapdoor and Krag.

Yes, prices on some of this stuff are getting pretty silly, but I guess it's a function of more people being interested in it now.  Before cowboy shooting took off you could buy 'most any '97 Winchester for $150 or less.  Krags were about the same.  Pity I didn't forsee all this and stock up!

What do you consider a "reasonably priced bayonet for your Krag"? I have 2 for sale. One is missing it's locking lug, but the other is complete. Both are in pretty good shape (other than the one's locking lug). They have both been sharpened. neither have scabbards. I don't have them in front of me to give you a more accurate description.

Pitspitr, The folks on the internet Bayonet sites are asking 2 or 3 hundred dollars, which I can't afford. Let me know ab out a price.  Thanks  TLD     PS. I'm also in the market for a bayonet for my Trapdoor rifle.

I've got a potential new recruit who may be in need of a Krag bayonet.  Let me know a price if you still have an extra.  Thanks!
