Judging by the picture, I see a pancake-style slot showing just under the rear of the slide. The stitch lines on the flat would imply that there may be a conventional loop on the back there. That would be a good place for another pancake slot instead.

Marshal Will is right on , the loop is on the back, with this type holster because of the belt loop in the back, being in back, the holster won't hug the body as close as a true pancake holster, but in some cases the grips of some guns will cut into the body when worn too close, so this type set up will allow for a little more room on the wast line, with the cant of this holster it could be worn in the back of the body as well.

Well it looks to me like there is a slot where the Marshall said behind the slide close to the rear sights.  I think the flat area under the trigger is a slot (maybe). Therefore, if you rotate this holster about 180 to the left  it becomes a left handed small of the back design.  Now I have totally confused myself, which actually is easy to do.    :) ;) :D ;D

Sad to get old and confused, I tried to convert my little holster pattern to and IWB COB design last week and got so turned around that all I createde was a mess!  Got mad and throwed that thang in the garbage and swore to never look at that pattern again.  On the holster Cowboy shows I would do the channel and add the optional slot where Marshal Will is talking about, gives one the option of tight for concealment or grip  out a bit for field carry.

OH, do not fergit that if you rotate it 180, the grip would now be presented to the opposite hand from the COB.

Howdy Wiley, the only problem with turning this holster 180 degrees to be used as a left handed draw,  based on this design,is the grip of the gun would be facing downward at an awkward angle, making access difficult, and easier for the gun to fall out accidentally, I IMHO I think this is a right hand draw only just based on the design, the front and back belt loops really don't allow for much else.

Well TW, on second look you're correct ol pard it won't work as a left hander I don't know what I was thinkin.  I guess with all the visualization and turning and flippin I was doing I got all disorinted.   :-\
