Picked up a Interarms Rossi that needs some TLC

I picked up a Rossi 1892 that is one of the older ones that needs a little attention. The price was too good to pass up.

When I got it the Carrier would not go up and down. This was due to the rifle missing one of the carrier screws so one side had fell down.

I ordered a set of Winchester 1892 screws but quickly found out that they would not work. On the Rossi 1892 carrier screw it has threads part of the way down (from the head) but the end of the screw is smooth so it can slide in the hold of the carrier. I cant seem to find these screws anywhere. I tried VTI Gunparts but I didnt see anything for ROSSI. I dont want to order if im not sure it will work. I just paid 25.00 to get the Winchester screws sent to me and I dont want to be out anymore money for something I cant use.

Does anyone have or know where I can get this screw or screws for the Rossi.

I really like this gun cause it has very dark wood, smooth action, metal Magazine follower and would like to use it.

I tried to call Rossi the other day but could not get them. I will try after the holidays.

Rossi's are metric and the Win parts may not interchange.  Been there, filed that too much, had to replace it, bought the wrong part, finally bought the correct part.

Thanks, I finally got in touch with MM Gunsmithing and got the right screw set ordered. Should be up and running soon.
