Bored yesterday afternoon . . . . so put  "The Quick & the Dead" in the DVD player.  The one with Russel Crow in it.  A fun movie.  Such a "Hollywierd" story that it is fun . . . ( ie. doesn't even try to be a real western story ). . . the guns used are neat.  Realistic old west guns and a nice variety.   Being a Remington shooter I realy enjoy seeing the gunfighter with his converted New Model Army on a Bridgeport rig.   Fun   :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

I love the variety of guns used in that movie, but the gun in question is a Rogers & Spencer conversion.
A work in progress.

Are you talking about Sgt Cantrall from the movie who has the remington? I'm going to have to re-watch that movie to see it, I was kinda disappointed that Gene Hackmans character only uses the 1875 in the opening saloon scene and then goes to '73 peacemakers there afterwards.
SASS# 78851
SASS Alias - Sheriff E.J. Maynard

That 1875 he used at first belonged to one of his henchmen.

I guess I need to take a closer look next time . . That is even "cooler" than it being a Remington !  :)

Thought you might like that. ;D In fact if you search for the Quick and the Dead on imdb look at the pictures. They show actor Keith David with the gun drawn.
A work in progress.
