Hi,

I am not really sure where to post this ...

I talked with a couple of brothers who did 'old time' spurs and rowells ... they were going to sell me some of those 'Mexican' (read non-ASPCA approved) rowells to make my present spurs look more period correct.

I saved their website and started saving my shekels to afford some ....

And now that I have the money, I cannot find the site in my 'favorites' ...

Does anyone know of two brothers from the Northwest who make old time 'Mexican' stile spurs and rowells?

Thanks!

Feathers,

What a great site!

But what I am looking for was two brothers who cast copies of old spurs and rowels ... when I talked to them, they said that they would sell me a pair of old time Mexican style rowels for some spurs I bought without rowels .... and I lost their site and phone number. All I can remember was that they were two brothers who had their own two person foundry in the Northwest ... and was hoping that someone on here had done business with them ....

St George,

That's them!

I will go to their website and put it back in my 'Favorites' again ... as well as writing it down!

Thank you so much!

Delmonico

Depends on your spurs, the throat in the shank may not be deep enough to add real big rowels.  Colarado Saddlery makes some decent of those type that are not real expensive.

Delmonico,

Thanks for the heads up about thickness ... I have already ordered the ones from Lindholm, and if they are too thick I will try Colorado  ...
