I still have mine, but I don't think it functions at its best sometimes.

Dern Straight!  I watched my dad bite down on a piece of gause in a docs office once while they cut a chunk of skin cancer outta his shoulder.  They offered to schedual surgery but he said "just do it".  I guess he set the bar perty high fer me.

I had a fatty tumor removed from my back in day surgery. They "localized" it and removed a biscuit size tumor. The Moose and I went to a movie that night, We saw "Death on the Nile". As we were leaving the theater, I heard a woman scream, "You're bleeding"! Moose happened to glance at my back and noticed the stitches had broken and the back of my shirt was bloody. The pain killers had worn off and It was really hurting. We went to the ER and I got restitched. They had that I should have had regular suegery and stayed overnight.
