This is Walt's personal 1858 built in the Pale Rider style.
The engraving and Gold &Silver inlay was done by Rocky Hays of Oregon.
The Bone colorcase, Charcoal blue, action work, profiled loading lever and the case was done at Ravens Roost.
Kara Strite hand dyed the velvet lining in the case.
The left recoil shield is inlayed with Walt's family crest in silver and gold. Walt's signiture is inlayed in silver on the grip strap.

Superb looking piece!!

And then , someone like me thinks,,,,'wonder if it has ever been fired'.

And then someone like you say's,,,,'peasant, how dare you think that, it would ruin it's historical value!'.

And then,,,,,,,,,,

That is whut I wuz thinkin' . . . . "How does it shoot" . . .  :)

My neighbor back east had a Smith & Weston engraved my Nimsky.   It had been fired.  One shot.  Ya could swing out the cylinder and see the one slightly dirty chamber.  They test fired all the presentation guns before they were shipped.  It was a presentation for the king of Egypt.  He was assassinated and so it was never sent to him.
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Whats the point of a gun thats never shot?  ;D
Part of the historical value is that Walt's the only one thats fired it!  8)

It's very acurate! and been well cleaned!

Absolutely agree with those points.
