Here are a couple of neat little projects for those of you who have a indianfighter, scout or frontiersman persona.

The first one is a covered bottle done in buckskin and sewn with a blanket stitch. It makes a very nice accoutrement to enhance ones "look".

The second one is of course, a telescope case done in 4-5 ounce latigo.

Both are sewn with artifical sinew.

They are both small and can easily be done in an evening. The big benefit of projects of this type is using up small scraps of leather and not wasteing them.

Here are a couple more items that dont take much time or talent ; ;D. ;D I made these when I was just getting the feel for it. Kept them to see if I could get better. Carry all bag and a $2.00 canteen I covered and tried to carve. ;) :( >:(  KT

It's nice too see you bringing out some of your work, which is very nice, I have to make a case for a telescope like that in the next few weeks, this gives me more ideas, the bottle cover is a great idea too, and would help to keep things period correct. Thanks for the look see. ::) :o 8) ;D

I thought that was a likeness of you on that canteen, until I enlarged it, very well done, but then I haven't seen anything that wasn't, that bag is sharp too. ::) 8) :D

Kid Now thats what I am talking about. The canteen cover looks great and anyway nobody can make a moose look good  ;) ;D
I love the bag. That definitely looks like a winter time bunkhouse project
TW and Rick thank you most kindly, they are just fun little projects that don't have to be all that slick and they add alot to your overall appearance.
The telescope cover has a belt loop on the back for carrying.
Rick how big is that telescope of yours, would you need a mule to pack it ;D
Thanks JD, I was just looking at your 1911 holster. Just don't do like I use to and be so hard on yourself. every new thing you try is going to be different and have different problems to overcome.

Nice proijects, GB. I've often thought about playing with that kind of persona myself. I really like the buckskin bottle. Nice.
